Book Binding Press
This is a custom built book press for bookbinding that was designed and built as a matching pair for 2 good friends.
Built from Hard Maple and finished with natural beeswax.
In addition to the press, also provided are boards for pressing the book case hinge/joint indents, and boards for working with the book signatures
Custom Wool/Yarn Spinner for knitters and textile craftspeople.
These are made from solid hardwood and finished with natural beeswax.
In this example, the spinner/holder bowl is made from Maple, and the spinner bases are Walnut and Birdseye Maple, with a Maple pin.
The diameter of the pin is sized to fit a standard yarn ball from a winder, without stretching or deforming.
