My name is Nik, and I am passionate about working with wood and the shapes and forms of nature. As a living material, the wood sometimes gives a unique gift in pattern or form, and discovering that while working on a piece gives joy and pleasure, which are then transferred into the piece itself through my craft.
I'm fascinated by using only my hands and tools to create one of a kind pieces of art, functional items and furniture, and have enjoyed working with wood since I was a young boy back in England, starting my first project at school. Ever since I have been growing and developing my skills.
I would be honoured to work with you to create a special item that will become a part of your home or business, or for a special and unique gift.
Process
Each piece is designed to fit the space and your aesthetic, and according to your requests. I start with a consultation to find out what you're looking for. Then, I will send you design sketches, and we'll work together to finalize a design you love. Once agreed, I get to building!
Finishing and Maintenance
I create pieces you can enjoy for years to come, using quality natural, food and child safe finishes, incorporating natural oils and beeswax.
